Pool skating is one of the original forms of skateboarding and originated in California where skateboarders were in search of ever new challenges by skating in dried-up swimming pools. Pools are still a relatively rare sight in Europe, even though they are equally suitable for all kinds of roller sports and age groups and offer a lot of skating fun.
